[Geocaching.com site update Nov 9th 2010]

All the links to "Geochecker.com." are not working properly.

When you arrive at the site you get the message that you are visiting "this site without coordinates to check". Was working fine this morning.

 

This looks like the ampersands (&) in the URL are getting html encoded to & and geochecker doesn't like that. No way to fix. Updating the link doesn't help.

[GC map coverage doesn't match Google Maps]

Case in point - see this cache, viewed from Geocaching.com's Google Map mashup (from the cache listing page):

Note that Pope Rd shows on Google Maps view (and my GPSr), but not on the geocaching.com interface to Google Maps.

 

Any plans to update this?

Just seeing how this map problem is going.

 

In the meantime, it looks like the Google Maps are working just fine on Firefox, however the yahoo maps on the cache pages aren't working quite right as you said. I am sure they are working on it.

 

I disagree - Google Maps option on Firefox doesn't work for me. The maps come up, but no caches. The spinner just hangs on "requesting geocaches"
