Thank you again for the quick reply. The Cache Type is grayed out and there is no CHECK/UNCHECK Check if you only want Premium and Charter Members to view this cache option. Could it be because I need to be a premium member to change that option? My premium membership expired and I haven't renewed it yet...

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. I went to Edit Listing and stared at the computer screen for like 5 minutes. I can't find any option to un-check to make it available to everyone. Is it under "Edit Listing"?

Some other caching sites offer a Verification system for found caches. Meaning the owner has the option to put a barcode and/or Verification Code. When someone finds the cache, they scan it with their phone or enter the verification code when they log the find. It would be great if Geocaching.com would have this system. Maybe have 2 different finds. The traditional where someone can just log the find likes its always been done and a "Verified Found". The Verified Found count would be a separate counter something like this: NimravusHSSR Found: (19) Verified Found: (6)

I have a Premium cache I placed a few years ago and listed it as Premium only. I want to change it so it's open for everyone to find. I looked everywhere to edit that and I can't find where I would change it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I think the trick was NOT to contact them and bring attention to the problem. Because you didn't contact them, they just shipped you the legend bonus package but with the original order information intact. I bet they will ship you the C. What you'll have to watch out for now is if they automatically charge you the difference when they ship out the C.

I think it has to do with the unit alot too. When I turn on my 60cs and Rino 130 inside my house, the 60cs immediately picks up signals and locks with no problem The Rino takes longer and has trouble keeping the signal. I don't have any problems aquiring signals under any foliage but other GPSrs do, standing in the same spot.

Well, for $500-$900 one can have the extra security of an EPIRB. One with a built in GPS or GPS interface +cable for your GPSr will alert the SAR in minutes. A weather alert radio like the Rino 130, some Motorola talkabouts, etc can be helpful in identifying upcoming bad weather. And always give your plan to a friend/family member as well as the local Ranger station.

Try initializing the GPSr again and let it sit in clear view of the sky for 15 minutes or so. This will download the almanac and should work. I've had this happen a couple of times over the years. Recently, on my Rino it would only pick up a couple of sats and give me the message "poor reception". I re-initialized from scratch. In a few minutes it picked up the usual 6-10 sats and I let it sit for several more minutes to ensure all data was downloaded...

Stop calling and e-mailing Target dang it. By checking to see if your going to get it, your hurting your chances of getting it. Enough noise and the mistake will get corrected.

Hi, I've got 2 like new Rino 110s I'm looking to upgrade to 130s. They are in perfect condition, has about 2 sets of batteries through them. I've got screen protectors on them (put on right out after purchase). In fact I still think I have the receipt somewhere, bought just a few months ago. I have several other GPSRs I use frequently so these only got used very seldom. I'll post pictures in a bit.

It's probably not ambient temperature outside. It's most likely a safety heat switch to shut the unit down to avoid damage. That would be my guess...

Hi, I used to be able to generate pocket queries, now when I go and click on the link to generate, it gives me a message that I need to be a "Premium" member. I've been a premium member for awhile now. In fact July 3rd, $3 was charged to my Paypal account. Whn I enter my subscription # into the "Activate", it says it's already activated. Yet it won't let me generate Queries.....in fact I just noticed that my custom "Flashmaster" is replaced by "Geocacher" under my avitar also. So I guess I'm being charged but I don't have Premium privilages? Any ideas? Help please!!! This just happened recently. THANKS!!

when you load new maps, it erases the old map data. So just choose less mapping areas and reload.

I'm torn between the two Vista C and 60CS. First off, why isn't it called the Vist CS (Color/Sensor?), anyway.. The 60 CS is faster aquiring a lock from cold start. It has more memory, although it needs more. The Vista C is smaller. (I carry it everywhere, people think it's a cellphone) If anyone is contemplating between the Legend and Vista, go with the sensors. For 40-50 bucks more you'll have a steady map/pointer when your close to a cache and standing still looking for it. Without the sensors, you do the "shuffle" to get the pointer to point the right way! Both suck as a Car GPS, the screen is too small. The iQue or 2620 is the way to go for car navigation. With the touchscreen, input is a breeze. The screen is big enough too.
