  1. I bought a hiking stick at G.I.Joes. Here's why I think it's better than a closet dowell.......... 1) It has a foam grip which is comfortable. 2) It has a lanyard in case I need to let go of it. 3) It weighs only 10 ounces. 4) I only paid about 25 bucks for it. 5) It has a rubber "foot" which grips well on slippery surfaces. Here' a pic of it. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  2. Didn't the Suzuki's have a roll-over problem? Seem like I remember a recall on the older ones, I could be wrong. I'm with Sbell. I drive a '93 cherokee sport and it takes me anywhere I want to go. It has AC but I have to roll the windows down manually. As far as reliability, you can't go wrong with a Jeep! 4. Too funny RK!!! How do you come up with this stuff? OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  5. Just one. Sorry, I'm puncuationally challanged too. Should have written husband's, thanks for pointing that out. Og Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  6. With Kid Rock?! LOL TOO funny! WTG Stunod! I should've thought of that! You should have given him a triangle or something to play! LOL OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  7. Sorry. I tried but came up empty. I think I'll try something else........BRB OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  8. Give us a real picture to work with, Kealia. We promise not to dishonor you. heh heh heh OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  9. Cute pup there C&C! Here's a shot of out new "pound pup", got him in March & he's only about 15 months old! He's a keeper! Chief is his name. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  10. Hanging out with the DURAS SISTERS! Wouldn't you? Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  11. LOL That happened to me a few weeks ago! We went on a rare family cache outing on my husbands birthday. While driving down the mountains, my hubby requests that we stop by a river so he can do a bit of fishing while the rest of us wait in the jeep for him. I told him, "Okay, since it's your birthday." The kids and I start playing "I SPY", and all of a sudden it hits me to check on the GPS. I look EVERYWHERE and can't find it! I make the kids get out and I frisk them! (not really). Needless to say, I was stressing BAD! It was not in the pack, not in it's windshield mount, not on the floorboard, not under the seats, the dog doesn't have it. AAACCKK! I actually Yell at the kids for not being as upset as I was! LOL I remember screaming something like....."IT"S NOT LIKE THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT OR ANYTHING!!" to them. LOL Anyway, I finally found it slid next to the seatbelt receptacle on the passenger side. My blood pressure immediately dropped to more normal levels and we were soon back to our "I Spy" game! 12. OH no, sept1c, you don't have to tell me what it is. Thanks for the report. I kind of figured that if there was something there to read, it wouldn't be a crime to go read it. The sister that is pondering the gps purchase is coming out here in about 3 weeks. I plan on taking her out on a few hunts. I'm sure she'll be hooked after a trip to Mt. St. Helens. Thanks again for the report, stand by for your next assignment! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  13. Of course, if you're not in a big hurry, you could always bring in these guys to do the job! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  14. Billy-Bob finally completes the "Underwear on your head" cache and in retrospect, wishes he hadn't had his picture taken. Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  15. I'd log it as a find and put everything about how you found it and re-placed it in the log. That way someone else that might go looking for it in the near future will know that it's safe and that it may not be in the exact spot that the hider intended. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  16. 4 for 5 is very good, jarja! Just a word of warning, though, sometimes caches are moved, pirated or even just taken for a day of maitenance by the owner. So if you print the page out too far in advavce, you might not have the latest information. It's good to see you have thick skin too! YOU GO GIRL! 17. Do you still have the number that was stamped on the TB's tag? OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  18. originally posted by Brian-Team A.I. quote: Hmmm...I'd say chill. There's more to life than dead-serious thought, and humor plays a vital role in society. It was meant (I'm sure) in jest, but you played into something that didn't need to be started. Otherwise, I'd say enjoy the sport jarga_grl! It's a blast! Brian Team A.I. Sorry, Brian, I disagree. A newbie posts an enthusaistic "This is so much fun" message, and the first response was lewd and totally uncalled for. Her husband then posts a note to request leatherman to lay-off. His post was worded in a non-threatening way. Heck, it was kinda funny how he worded it. If this same exact thing happened in person, say at a bar, I doubt you'd be defending leatherman. Maybe that's what happening to the whole forums lately, people are hiding behind their keyboards and behaving like 15 year-olds with a new yahoo chat account. I say.....Grow up! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  19. Way to go! It won't be long and you'll be looking into rain gear! Umbrellas are for whimps! Glad you had fun. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  20. You might try posting this message in the "southeast" forums. I'm sure you'll get a better response there. Good luck and have fun! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  21. Yet another variation on the theme. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  22. That's a very funny post, James, and very wide of you to admit that stuff. It's refreshing to see someone laugh at themselves around here instead of flaming off at another poster. Oh, I hate your cousin's guts too! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  23. I've thought of doing just that, 360, or putting a stuffed animal on a spring that jumps out screaming at the unsuspecting cacher. I don't know how well received that would be, though? OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  24. Sorry, Tank. I didn't mean to be pushy. I hope you didn't take offense. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  25. Agreed, Dream Alchemist. But that part is what has me the most intrigued! I'm not saying that I'd break any laws trying to find it. I'd guess that it becomes obvious what it is before a cacher has to tresspass or walk on the grass or whatever. I say we commission Sept1c Tank to scope this one out and report back any wrong-doing! Caching by proxy! YEAH That's it! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
