I nominate RedShoesGirl ... me bestest bud and the crazy gal who got me into this geocoin collecting mess!! She also started me on the geocaching craze. She's generous at sharing and sending me coins. You should have seen the box filled with glittery goodies she gave me for my birthday!

I'm a real geocoin newbie...what does the "w/icon" or "with their own icon" actually mean?? Is it referring to the use of the geocaching.com logo??

Just looking for feedback about geocoins and whether the folks out there who like to collect prefer them to have a geocaching tracking number or not ?? I'm considering a personal geocoin ... but, of course, if I want them trackable it costs more. Thanks for any input!

I'm looking for recommendations for companies that create the best custom (metal) geocoins. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! We have a public geocaching event coming to Sunriver, Oregon in October and are looking to create a commemorative coin. We'd like nice quality at a decent price.
