I agree. It would take more than a creek to keep me from going after a cache. River maybe, creek No.

There's no such thing as a dumb question. Sometime you get some dumb answers though.

Is there anywhere you don't need permission to place a cache, except on land that you own? Like on a right of way, or county park? Or some other place that is publicly owned?

I went to a newly published cache today. No others had signed the log. It got published 7/24/07. It is GC14KPB . There was a TB in it and I didn't take it but I wrote the tracking# down and when I checked it, it shows as being dropped 7/21/07, 3 days before the cache was published. How did this happen? Did they just log the wrong date. How did they drop it anyway. Could they have just know the person that hid the cache and gave it to them before the cache was even hid.

I am working on setting up a 3 stage cache. I would like to have the 3rd/Final stage be 6/10 of a mile from the first and second stage of the cache. Is this permited, or do all 3 stages need to be within a certain distance of each other?

If I place a multi stage cache with 3 stages that each stage is a simple 1 1/2-1 1/2. Do I just list as a 1 1/2-1 1/2 or do I list it as something harder like a 2 1/2-1 1/2 because it has more involved in finding it?

Hang around the forums long enough and you will see that there are some who get their jollies out of being rude and condescending to the rest of us. Good luck with your cache. I agree, sometimes makes you wish you had never ask. I also think you should remove the questionable items. Stay on the good side of your reviewer. If you keep on caching you will need them again sometime.

If we got rid of all the nuts in our geocaching world we would not have near as many geocachers. You have to be nuts to do some of the things that we do.

Tring to figure out how to put stats in my profile like I see a lot of them have. Thought it may have been discussed here before.

I don't see anything wrong with it a long as it was stated on the cache page that it was at a nudist resort. Just watch out for the Itch Weed and Poison Ivy.
