Just a quick trip down to Cedar Creek Falls... We were heading out of Ramona because of the heat and you were heading in. What a stud!

It was thundering here. I just slept in and enjoyed it. It is pretty sticky outside now. Good 1/4'' in Crest with Thunder. No watering today!!!! All it did here was put spots all over my truck

How about a puzzle event.. You must solve the puzzle to find where the event is.. Then only the puzzlers would show up, but it's an interesting idea. But I meant an SDCET event.... What are you doing tomorrow or Sunday? It's been a while since I've been out for a really good cache hunt. This weekend doesn't look too good unless it's tomorrow morning in North county. We have a block party tomorrow afternoon and Sunday I will probably be recovering from the block party. So I think next weekend might be better. Well, it looks like I'll be walking up Woodson to grab the four new caches and the TC at the top tomorrow morning then.

Are you riding it Jerry? I'm thinking about it. I know there are more bike riders aroound here, maybe we can get them to go too. I'm in; but I'm riding my hybrid. What bus we taking back? 6p was good last time; hopefully, the wait won't be as bad. I think 6 was a good time, plenty of time for tacos and beer. The wait at the boarder sucked but I'm over that now.

I haven't seen anybody mention this yet so let me be the first. It's still a ways off but it is something to think about.

The oldest cache is a good choice. I was just there on my MT bike last weekend. It's a beautiful area for hiking or biking. Just don't forget your Adventure pass if you park on Sunrise Hwy because those Park Rangers are a little anal about it.

We saw this bumble bee today on our way back from Over The Hills and Far Away. It was on the only purple flower in a field of brown brush.

Is it going to be hot this weekend? It's been awhile..... Also no 6AM stuff for me. I'm a late-bird.... Sat. is in the mid 80's in El Cajon. Coastal caching would probably be nicer. Anyone going to the 7-7-7 stuff? We probably are. Not so sure about the early one but should make the later event.

I don't think I ever met Yrium, so my first encounter with him was when he found my first cache. I remember reading his log over again many times and showing it to everyone I could think of. You can read that log here.

So it happened that I deleted my first two TNLNSL logs by the same cacher. After deleting the logs I sent them a nice note as to why. They reposted their find with the same "TNLNSL". Is this really an unreasonable requirement? I haven't yet deleted the reposted logs, I don't want to turn it into a pissing match. A friend at work suggested I change it to a request instead of a requirement. Other suggestions? Thanks. Very interesting thread D!. I can't wait until those negative forum posters chime in! I can't type so it's real hard for me to post my finds. Logging 50 caches using 2 fingers gets fun, but I do try to make an effort. The thing is...so many of my geocaching experiences entall an adventure (in stupidity usually) that I really like to tell all about them. While I do take notice when someone finds my entire MTB series for example in one trip and has the exact same log on each one of them, I don't care either way if they write a story or not. I figure there's a lot of caches out there and they took the time to find mine and I'm sure they had a good time doing it.

Cornerstone and I have been discussing a possible alternative, a "Boys Night Out" at Hooters in Temecula. I wonder how many SD people might be interested in that? I'd fly in for some hooters action. Umm......that's sounds bad. Strike that. (ahem) I'd fly in for some H TERS action. --TT-- (I'd go) I've never been to a Hooters restaurant. Isn't it like an "enhanced" Denny's?

Looks like Ramius has weighed in on this. Check the cache page... I'm just going to say...bad idea all the way around on this one. Plus...this IS tribal lands. Tribal laws apply and I'm guessing the Team Geo-Rangers didn't even speak to the Luiseno tribal gov't about this, much less the casino. I'd expect the courtesy of asking the tribe first would be a better way of approaching something like this. --TT-- So freedom of speech and freedom of lawfull assembly don't apply here? Then again, it might be fun to watch the news that night!

I was just checking out the calendar and, and if I'm correct, there are no local events scheduled. Not even for pizza. Are we tiring of each other or just too busy caching?

This was my first event ever! And my first time actually meeting most of the founders of the SD Caching Community... I became a member just a few days after this event so I wasn't fortunate enough to attend. I'm star-struck just looking at this photo. I wonder how many of these cachers ended up on Yrium's cards?
