It sounded like SuperDave and Jared wanted to do Otay. I think Lost Guy and I wanted to do Horsethief/Wind Caves. It's not clear what M3 and the others were thinking. So there are maybe two options this weekend.... All I know is that it is supposed to be a nice day Saturday. I think I may want to do the hike. I have some busy weekends coming up so I better get out there while I can.

I just had this thought that they should change the time in the spring on a Monday at 4PM. That way it would suddenly be 5PM and time to go home! Why do they always cut our weekends short anyhow? That would be your Congress in action! Would that be in-action or inaction?

I don't know about the history, but I can find out who owns it tomorrow at work. The Mansion is on a 46 acre parcel which is owned by Davis Ha and Kim T. Pham Husband and Wife as Joint tenants. Obviously it is unoccupied though.

Now that is something to think about. Maybe I should get some road tires for my mountain bike. John and i rode our MTBs. It was a blast, except I couldn't keep up with Downhill Dick on the long hills..and I didn't see much of Chuy! Wanna ride with me??? r/jodi Are you going? I haven't signed up yet. If all you guys are signed up I'll do it right now. I rode my mountain bike the last time I did this ride but that was a loooong time ago.

Now that is something to think about. Maybe I should get some road tires for my mountain bike.

There is parking along Father Junipero Trl, except where noted, but the gates open at 8a (I think) and close at 5:30p (I think). Same hours at the horse staging area at the west end of Mast. There is a lot open 24/7 near the entrance to the campground, at N32 50.334 W117 02.024; this is a good place to park if you are bikeriding and/or may be hiking past 5:30p. The best route? Head north! Head north under the 52 bridge; I believe that's Oak Canyon, all the way to the fenceline, about 4-5 miles in. As you head north, there will be caches up each finger on the left and some on the right. You're going to have take a peak at Google Maps/Earth to set up a route best for you. There is another canyon to the west, Shepherds, that has caches. You can head that way and return under the other 52 bridge west of the first one. Is that confusing enough? I have a handful of caches to grab in both canyons, but I will bike it in the weeks to come. I'm thinking of heading to Corte Madera on Saturday if anyone is interested. Thanks Chuy! Couple of questions for you or anyone reading this. Is the other side of the 52 all Mt. Bike accessible? I've done nothing on that side so do you recommend hiking to get the most caches, even though it might take a long time? There's some great riding up there. I've gotten most of the caches on my bike.

I have no clue where we will be; plus I have never been to Yuma so I have no clue where to meet. I'm guessing that since we'll be with the Geobabes that we might end up at a Dairy Queen.. You mean we're going all the way to Yuma and we still have to eat with these guys?!...They have Dairy Queens???...I'm there!! Long way to go to have lunch with those 'other' San Diego cachers.. I see what I have to go through.. and I still get no commitments.. TA Looks like we are headed down on Saturday morning, not friday....anyone else? I have been hearing commercials on the radio today for this... They've been running promos since Friday too. I haven't heard the radio piece. Do you hear my son talking on the radio promo? The reported contacted me on Saturday and told me that the piece turned out really nice. We''ll see. Now I'm nervous. I have my Tivo set so I don't miss it.
