We hotfixed out a correction to this issue a couple of days ago after DeLorme informed us of problems their code had with a particular JavaScript element. Have you tried downloading recently?
I tried several times--including all the downloading and updating again--just before posting my message. Can you provide me with a link to the Delorme fix message? And thank you for such a quick response!

Earlier this year the uploading to GPS function stopped working for my Delorme PN-60. I have downloaded the browser plug-in and I've updated my GPS dozens of times. My computer recognizes the GPS when I plug it in via USB. When I try to download a cache into my GPS from the site, however, I get the red-slashed circle at step one, Checking for browser plug-in.
Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I am interested in finding out how to fix THIS function, not in learning about alternative programs that I can download and use (such as GSAK), so if anyone knows what's going on, please let me know. This is very frustrating.

Thank you, RckHnd and Team Taran, for your replies.
Since I did not know that there had been a firmware update for the PN-60, I took care of that first. The geocaches still will not "send" to my GPS from the website.
I have not had the Topo program running when I am attempting to upload caches, and I don't have CacheRegister.
I use IE for my browser, but if the problem is with it, I'd think that others would have experienced the same problem.
I'll continue trying . . . and thanks again.

It has been a couple months since I've attempted to download geocaches to my Delorme PN-60, and I cannot get past step one: the system tells me that my GPS is not connected. 1) The computer recognizes it as connected; 2) the GPS shows it is connected; 3) I've re-downloaded the latest update; 4) I've rebooted, refreshed, etc. several times; 5) this happened once before, and it was a Delorme problem with their download from www.geocaching.com program provided to the site. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a clue as to what I can do?

Thanks, Motorcycle Mama. I hate it when things don't work the way they are supposed to work, but it's even worse when I have no idea why.

I'm having a similar problem with my Delorme PN-60 ... and no problem at all (ever) with my PN-40. Can someone please list the phone number to the help desk, since I am apparently too much of a web noob to find it myself?
Thanks

I upgraded from my Delorme PN-40 to the PN-60, and the increase in quality is significant. There's just one problem: While I have never had (and still do not have) any problem uploading caches from the geocaching.com website to my PN-40, I cannot get it to complete the action with the PN-60. I am a premium member, and I have followed every troubleshooting step listed both in the PN-60 manual and on the geocaching.com website. I have downloaded, rebooted, reloaded, etc.
I can still upload to the PN-40, but it's a no-go for the PN-60. It gets past step 2 (it recognizes the device), but it always fails at step 3 (uploading the cache) and goes immediately to step 4 (disconnect). Can anyone help me figure out what is going on and what I need to do to get this to work?
Thanks,
Hodoiporos & PyonanAn
