  1. Any Geocachers going to the Camp Jeep California event in August?

I will be working the event along w/ some members of our Jeep club. I will be doing as many of the caches in the area during my free time from leading trail rides. Maybe we could do a Cache event near the area for those that are going to Camp Jeep or any others that don't have a Jeep but just want to meet up w/ other cachers in the area?

I have a cache I will be looking to place up there this weekend, it will most likely contain a YJTB.

  3. If you are hitting the Jeep trails in Moab, definately do BELLY SCRATCHER on the Poison Spider Mesa Trail. I have MiamiTJ's Black Jeep KJ Travel Bug that I have been moving around for about a month now and I plan on keeping it possibly up till Moab Easter Jeep safari next year. I emailed the owner and asked His permission to do so. He just wanted to see the TB moving about and pics being posted. I also just grabbed a YJTB and I plan to hold onto it for a while until I can drop it off in a cool off road location, may have it for a month or so, but will log it into and out of caches along the way and post pics of it's travels. I don't think it is that big of a deal to hold onto them as long as you update it's travels and keep it active. :)

  4. Woulda been nice to have had a YJTB to drop off in one of the caches I did this weekend up in Big Bear as part of our Jeep clubs 2nd Annual L.O.S.T. KJ WEST Big Bear Wheelin' Weekend.

Had lots of Jeepers out there that would have gotten real excited about Geocaching had they seen a YJTB.

    Maybe Next time. :D

  5. Ditto MiamiTJ! I am the Treasurer for L.O.S.T. KJ WEST located in Southern California and our club would love to help distribute some YJTB's to some of the local off road areas that contain Caches. There are quite a few cachers in our area that Wheel & Cache and this promotion is perfect for us. We, KJ WEST, will also be working the West coast Camp Jeep event this year and we could place a couple YJTB's in caches up in the Camp Jeep area. oh BTW, PLEASE?! :o

  6. Just hit 100 finds the other day and hope to get at least another 50 before year is up. Also wanting to place at least another half dozen or so caches. Now to find those Cool spots for them. Wish there were more in the places we go Jeepin', hmmmm maybe I need to start placing more in those areas! :D

  7. Yes, it is an Old Buick I believe and story goes that some crazies drove it until it wouldn't go any further and then left it for dead. Over the years it just got trampled into the trail and now makes for a nice obstacle, the jagged metal has been known to cut a tire every now and then. It is located on Dangerous Road trail on the Los Coyotes Indian reservation in San Diego county, Ca. Real fun place to wheel.
