kc2ixe
Here is a dumb question One mark I'm hoping to have the time to recover has a "Non publishable" mark in it's box score. I was wondering - should I try to find the "Non publishable" mark, and if there is any way to get ANY info about that mark If you look at KU3504 it says BENCH MARK TILDEN NW 1940 WILL SERVE AS THE AZIMUTH MARK. IT IS 54 FEET SOUTH OF THE APPROXIMATE CENTER OF ROCKAWAY BOULEVARD, 27 FEET WEST OF THE APPROXIMATE CENTER OF B 193 STREET AND 2.4 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE FENCE AROUND FORT TILDEN. IT IS A U.S.C. AND G.S. BENCH MARK DISK SET IN A ROUND CONCRETE MONUMENT WHICH PROJECTS ABOUT 11 INCHES AND IS STAMPED TILDEN NW 1940. Looking for Tilden NW 1940 - it seems that it WAS KU1952, which is now non publishable.... >KU1952 TILDEN NW 40 33 33. /073 54 05. D BTW it's interesting that it's non publishable because of description, but the description is in this other mark....... Quote Link to comment
evenfall
kc2ixe, Go see if you can find it, If you can and you submit a description to Deb, deb.brown@noaa.gov then perhaps your descriptive text will put it back in action. This may be a circumstance where you could resurrect this one from the nonpub file. Good Luck, Rob Quote Link to comment
