+brian b
Sure, they have Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming; the square mileage alone destroys us, but what do they say (and how many times must they say it) to have so many more posts? Quote Link to comment

Yes, but we have Snat and several other big time posters. Is "The Fix" in? Quote Link to comment
mortonfox
As I've said, the easy way to catch up would be to merge with the New England forum. After reconciling our two different clam chowders, of course. Quote Link to comment

avroair
Yeah, and we DO have the quote diamond from the 4th dimension... I have been away so my post count per day has dipped below 20! Quote Link to comment

Maybe they don't have as many good caches to look for as we do. They might have to spend more time talking about geocaching than actually doing it! Quote Link to comment

And you could really do us a favor by insulting a guy named "Squealy". That way, we'll catch up to NW in no time Quote Link to comment
+AndrewRJ
Oh man thats easy. One, there aren't many organization forums to draw us away except Portland OR.(I don't know if that is the case there) Two, Someone is doing something every weekend and we invite the community. Then we have to decide who is driving, where are we meeting, etc. it adds up to a lot of posts. Three, the part that makes it really sick is that with the exceptions of a few eastern washington threads, most of the topics are about western Washington. Four, obviously we stay on the forums when we are supossed to be working. I guess you guys are just more productive . Hmm thats all I can think of right now. Quote Link to comment

+Squealy
What is this Lawn I Land crap? No one has an accent like that. It's Longuyland. Get it right! So many plans for that furry white bitch. And I can say bitch because she is a female dog. How long do you think a poodle can survive in a .50 ammo can without food and water? Quote Link to comment

avroair
What we need are topics that are for the Northeast but have a universal appeal like a geocoin or something like that, those threads always attract errant posts from other areas! Quote Link to comment
+BMSquared
Let's not forget folks, it's not about the numbers of posts, it's about the quality. Therefore, I motion that we send Squeally out west to screw up there forums. Maybe Stayfloopy can drop him off in Washington "on his way to work". Quote Link to comment

I bet if I corrected either the spelling or grammatical errors in many of the NE posts we'd catch up in no time! Perhaps another vortex will help our numbers? Quote Link to comment
+Evil Chicken
Ah, remember the days when it was all about the number (of posts!) Seems like such a long time ago! (I hope that everyone is busy caching and that is why all is quiet here - tho I do miss reading the banter!) Quote Link to comment

+teepeeayy
Its nice to see a bit of inter-country rivalry Think of the 2 football teams in the UK that hate each other the most, that's the Yankees and Red Sox. Quote Link to comment
+Old Bet
I have not compiled the personal cache numbers to back this up, but could it be that northeasterners spend the bulk of their time in the woods hunting caches, while those other folks are sitting in front of their computers, sipping tea and posting to the forums? (Alas, I may be one of them. I have more forum postings to my credit than cache-finds. Quote Link to comment
+Squealy
BUMP... Now we're 7K behind AND the South and Southwest has passed us again. We suck! OK - the Jets suck - and since I got bored watching them get their butt kicked for the 9th week in a row, I noticed the numbers. Quote Link to comment
avroair
Yeah well i am trying to find caches to put a travel bug in --- in California and the 30 closest art all pill-bottle micros. (so who sucks now!). I will take Sparta Glen over Simi Valley caching anyday. Quote Link to comment
+Squealy
Will you use your famous Californian Right Handed Replacement method? Quote Link to comment
+Enspyer
One thing is that some portions that are technically in the "Northeast" don't have much representation in this forum. For example, Central New York. I'm not sure why, but CNY cachers seem to stay off the forums except for a select few, and they don't seem to come in here at all. Quote Link to comment
