+Team Og Rof A Klaw
Hi all, How can I get a count of the number of "premium members only" caches in my area? Thanx! ____________________________ - Team Og Rof A Klaw All who wander are not lost. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
Look at your nearest caches pages. The premium member caches all have the premium member only logo. Normally there really aren't that many. ===================== Wherever you go there you are. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
There probably aren't many. Of the nearly 50 caches I've place, only one is members only and that's because another cache in the area was stolen several times. In my area there are thousands of caches within a hundred miles and if there are more than 10 members only caches, I'd be surprised. So MOC's aren't the reason people sign up. Most of us pay up because we want to support the website. How many websites can you go to that are as designed as well as this one, provide as many features and don't have pop up ads? Heck, it's worth $30 a year to me just to keep the pop up ads away. Another bonus is that even though the owners of this site may be making some money out of it (or maybe they arent), they are geocachers, not some faceless corporation. They do it out of love for the sport, not to make themselves rich (though if that happened, I'm sure they wouldn't complain). A lot of members also like the pocket query feature, though I've yet to use it. "Au pays des aveugles, les borgnes sont rois" Quote Link to comment
