Garmin 76cs Case Recommendations

I just ordered a 76cs and was wondering if people are using cases. If so, any suggestions?

 

Plan to use crystal clear tape over the screen.

I have both of these. they both work great. the aquapac for rough situations - canoe trips and climbing.

I use a neoprene case. works fine.

I am using the case made by Gilsson for my 76cs and it works great. Fits like a glove and has nice attachment places also. My only complaint is when it is cold ( winter ) the buttons are a little difficult to push. They are so close together that when the clear plastic covering them is pushed in it tends to push more than one button at a time. Other than that it is great.

I also use the Gilsson case and am very happy with it. Depending on what else other than Geocaching you are going to use the 76CS for, I also recommend the Gilsson external antenna and the RAM mounts. I use both in my SUV and they work very well.

Consider cutting down a PDA screen protector to fit over the display. They come off easily when they need to be replaced. Or if you don't want to be bothered cutting them down, Strong Engineering makes screen protectors designed to fit your 76CS.

 

Tape will leave a sticky residue on your screen.e
