Birdsong-n-Bud
Where do you get 'em? You know: those little tiny protective ziplock bags that house geocoins and wooden nickels. I'm looking for a decently priced supplier. Has anyone bought some where you can make a good referral? Thanks, Quote Link to comment
Kite and Hawkeye
I've seen them at art-supply stores, for what it's worth. Quote Link to comment
Resolution
I got mine at Walmart, in the craft area. Quote Link to comment
MountainMudbug
I've seen them at art/craft stores as mentioned; also in the WalMart craft dept, sometimes at dollar stores, and often at flea markets. Quote Link to comment
The Roving Ravenstones
We got ours from VeriPack.com, we got a box of1000 3"x4"X 2 mil(thickness) for $5.30 and $4 ish for shipping. The reason we chose them is you didn't have to have a minimum order, like a whole lot of places do. We have used this company before for shipping supplies and have always loved them. here is a link to our baggies. VeriPack Quote Link to comment
Miragee
If you have a local computer shop, you might get a few there. They use them for the small screws used to secure cards in computer cases. Quote Link to comment
JohnX
According to me, the bags you get a craft shops are flimsy. The bags found here make for a much nicer presentation. Quote Link to comment
Marcie/Eric
Try the local head shop. They have decorative ones Quote Link to comment
PeachyPA
I found some nice ziptop bags at Michael's Crafts that I use for beads. They seem to be as thick as the ZipLok freezer bags. Michaels for a store locator. Edited May 25, 2005 by PeachyPA Quote Link to comment
Faith the Aquariaqueen
Another option is a jewelry and/or coin collectors shop..... Quote Link to comment

Birdsong-n-Bud
Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. We tried all the sites, and found that Veripak ended up giving us the best price, without forcing us to have a minimum order. Many thanks for the recommendations! We ordered 3 different sizes! +trippy1976
I get baggies from the dollah store. Not precisely coin size though. Quote Link to comment
geospyder
I second Michaels, which is a craft store. You can get 100 bags for about two dollars if I remember right. I also printed mini return address labels (Spyder13 Sparks, NV USA) that I place on the bags. While on vacation in Europe I was placing Sacagawea golden dollars in the bags. When I come back next week I'm bringing back about three kilos of Dutch Stuivers (pre Euro 5 cent coins) I'll use them as a semi-sig swag in the US. Quote Link to comment
BubbleDragon
You might want to try SciPlus - the science surplus site. I think lots of geocachers use them for various things, but it's hard to predict what they'll have and when. Quote Link to comment
