Baggies For Geocoins

Where do you get 'em? You know: those little tiny protective ziplock bags that house geocoins and wooden nickels. I'm looking for a decently priced supplier.

 

Has anyone bought some where you can make a good referral?

We got ours from VeriPack.com, we got a box of1000 3"x4"X 2 mil(thickness) for $5.30 and $4 ish for shipping. The reason we chose them is you didn't have to have a minimum order, like a whole lot of places do. If you have a local computer shop, you might get a few there. They use them for the small screws used to secure cards in computer cases.

According to me, the bags you get a craft shops are flimsy. The bags found here make for a much nicer presentation.

Try the local head shop. They have decorative ones

I found some nice ziptop bags at Michael's Crafts that I use for beads. They seem to be as thick as the ZipLok freezer bags.

I get baggies from the dollah store. Not precisely coin size though.

I second Michaels, which is a craft store. You can get 100 bags for about two dollars if I remember right. I also printed mini return address labels (Spyder13 Sparks, NV USA) that I place on the bags.

 

While on vacation in Europe I was placing Sacagawea golden dollars in the bags. When I come back next week I'm bringing back about three kilos of Dutch Stuivers (pre Euro 5 cent coins) I'll use them as a semi-sig swag in the US.

You might want to try SciPlus - the science surplus site. I think lots of geocachers use them for various things, but it's hard to predict what they'll have and when.
