Caching In Bath

Ricky007 and are I watching West Ham at the Play off final

after last years probs we are spending the night before in Bath

I have downloaded the waypoints and their look like quite a few

any recommendations?

I'm sure this is a bit shameless, but if you come off the new Severn Crossing on your way back and take the M49 down onto the M5, and come off at (I think Jct17) there's two caches in Portishead, Aqua Marina and *runs for cover* my own Under Neon Loneliness, Motorcycle Emptiness. It's about 7 miles from the M4.

 

You could then cache your way back through Bristol over to Bath on the A4

Here's some advice (and some of it useful).

 

Firstly Stay at home , its a long journey home when you've lost ( woops showing my football colours - "we're the one and only North End!!!")

 

But alternatively why not stay a bit further out in the Trowbridge/Westbury area. Good train links into Cardiff (straight through 1hr 25) and loads of good caches - 39 within 10miles of Trowbridge, 34 within 10 miles of Westbury.

We recommend Sham Castle and Royal Crescent, or if you want to go a bit further afield to Bradford on Avon, The Chapel at No 38.
