+welch Posted May 20, 2005 Share Posted May 20, 2005 what: canoeing the Wapsinpicon When: June 18 starting at 9am Where: We'll be leaving traveling from the Troy mills Access (N 42° 17.382 W 091° 40.424) to Pinicon ridge (near Central city) Who: Rooboy and myself, and any other cacher who wants to canoe. Neither of us have canoed this area, but it should be lots of fun! What else: bring a sack lunch, bug spray, sun block, anything else you might need during the trip (5-6hour or more? trip). If you don't have a canoe, you can rent them from Linn county conservation at Pinicon Ridge park (or elsewhere, I just know this route is regular for them). Caches: Currently the only caches on this route seem to be the two at Pinicon Ridge (the park we'll be ending up in). Any quesions please email me or post to the IGO forum Quote Link to comment
