+Don Coyote
How To Clean Your Toilet 1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl. 2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom. 3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid. 4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this. 5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse". 6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door. 7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids. 8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off. 9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean. Sincerely, The Dog Thanks TrailGators, I was bored during my UNIX class and decided to browse the forums and I came to this post. It had the expected result and my instructor and everyone else in the class wondered what was so funny about writing scripts. I guess that will teach me to pay attention in class. I would hate to be on the wrong side myself.. I have a huge aerial map and it shows private property along Sloan Canyon Road, but up near McGinty it's not private. There is one section that juts down and touches the road. I assumed this was where Chuck's cache was. It appears "Birds" is the first safe cache. Anything to the east is on private property. The public land touches Sloan Canyon Rd just past Model T Road. Model T Road is private. It looks like there is a trail going up to Mcginty on the public land past Model T Road...I guess we could scope it out. All the others west seem ok... I'll show ya the map next time I see you. r/ jodi Edited February 28, 2007 by jahoadi and john Quote Link to comment
+SD Rowdies
Sounds like a visit to Sycuan tribal offices is in order to clarify things. I faintly recall seeing a wildlife-area sign along the trail between "It Gets Steeper ..." and "Rats!" caches, actually nearer Rats! or even just beyond. Trouble is that I'm not very sure about my recollection. Going in from Model A Ford is not very likely, that's a very steep and rugged canyon that's heavily overgrown. Looking down into that canyon from above also gives the impression that it is very private with a couple of very large and secluded homes. +Chuy!
Just past the Gateway cache eastward off Sloan Canyon Rd is another trail that goes up and meets up with the Gateway trail. That trail has what appears to be a legal opening in the fence. Problem is there is no parking nearby; you'd have to park off the road by the bridge and walk over. There is a second gate about 100 feet up from this gate - a rusted bar - to prevent vehicles from going up, but there are no warning signs on either areas. One thing for sure, there are no wildlife boundary signs on the way up or when you top out. If you look to the SSE from the Gateway cache, you will see a sign about 200 yards away. That sign and others along this perimeter are no-tresspassing signs facing away - as if to notify hikers coming down the hill that this area down below is private property. Quote Link to comment
