+Alan Ellis
Out west, especially in Colorado, the hundreds of mine symbols on the screen are annoying. How do I get rid of them so I don't have to look at them on the unit screen? I know how to reduce the detail of the display, but that also gets rid of other symbols which I want. I was looking to get rid of only the mine symbols. Any ideas? Thanks. AE ----------------------------------------- www.JackieandAlan.com Edited May 14, 2005 by Alan Ellis Quote Link to comment

4x4van
From the map screen, go to menu, map setup, then toggle to the right. You can then check or uncheck individual POI categories to either show them or not. Oops, sorry, like Mikeatnight, I thought you were talking about a Magellan. Never mind! +Night Stalker
If you are talking about Mapsource and not mapsend it may depend on your GPS. On the 60CS you can adjust when you see these points of enterest in map setup to different zoom levels. I have mine set to 500' so that they don't clutter up the map until I am zoomed in that far.
