dbg@ix.netcom.com
Hi, I plan to go into a VERY remote part of Honduras. It is an area accessible only by walking over 50 miles on foot. I think it would be neat to leave a couple of geocaches in this area. What advice would you give me? How is a geocache like this verified? It's probably that no one would find it for a very long time, even though it would have a DIFFICULTY factor of 1 (easily visible) Thanks, Dan Gamwell dbg@ix.netcom.com Quote Link to comment
+Scoobie10
Well, if you don't plan on staying and living in Honduras I'm pretty sure it would be considered a vacation cache and would not be approved. Scoobie Quote Link to comment
+Sonoran Privateers
It would have a diffictulty factor of 1, but a higher terrain factor. Scoobie is right. If you aren't going to be available to maintain the cache, GC.com will probably not list it. Now, if you could talk one of the local Hondurans into looking after it for you, that would be cool.
