The above is a *joke*. I've heard nothing of this previously, and I don't know whether AAA plans to list the caches on this or any other site, nor whether they have a maintenance plan for any caches they place.

The geocache coordinates they get using their handheld Global Positioning System (GPS) units, courtesy of Garmin, will be posted on this page.

And given that they're full of promo items, they don't seem to meet the criteria of non-commercial caches, so wouldn't be approved for here? Dunno.

I think it's great! I too would love to make the complete trek with the Z28, caching along the way. Yeah, even though the caches they place are not on GC, there are plenty of fantastic GC caches that follow '66'. We found this on our way back from San Diego last summer. It is a special feeling you get when you actually step foot on the original pavement of the Hiway of Yesteryear. While close by the interstate traffic screams by, most people don't know or even think about what part of Americana History is just over the hill.
