How To Link Directly To A Specific Post?

I notice that some people link directly to an individual post within a thread. For example this link goes directly to the post that Keystone Approver wanted to take the person to.

 

How is this done? I only know how to link to an entire thread. I don't know how to determine the number of a specific post.

Click the "posted" button right next to the date and time of the post. It pulls up a window with a link to that post.

 

Then of course use the http:// button to insert it.

Where "showtopic" is the topic number and "entry" is the entry number (I'm assuming). If you hover over the "quote" button, you see the entry number of the post you're about to quote. Perhaps if you plug the entry number and topic number into the URL above it would work, though I don't know what "&st=0%EF%BF%BD" indicates. Hang on, let's try it.

I discounted that because it didn't show me a unique post number when I hovered. It must pick it up when you click.
