+brad.32
You should able to set your GPS unit to display/use UTM coordinates through the setup, then use the coordinates on the caches pages. GCM? "General circulation model" and "global climate model" are the only ones I know. GCP would be ground control point. What was the context for that one? Quote Link to comment
+TheGertridgeExplorers
Geodetic Control Monument? Maybe, just a guess with no contaxt. -Donna G Quote Link to comment
+MrGigabyte
As you are based in Chilliwack, BC, I assume you are referring to this cache. GCM refers to Geodetic Control Monument and in BC, are managed by the Base Mapping and Geomatic Services Branch. Hey Donna, so they did teach you something at UNB after all! :-) Quote Link to comment
Tahosa and Sons
GCM actually has two real important meanings. It depends if you are in Canada or in the States. 1. Canada GCM - means Got Cold Molson 2. States GCM - means Got Cold Miller Both of them if applied liberaly will alleviate any sattelite interference. After a while you won't care if you have a good lockon or what. Tahosa - Dweller of the Mountain Tops. Quote Link to comment
