SCP-173
I noticed that Jeremy said in another thread that the Geowoodstock 3 coins are being added as a "new type". Does this mean they're going to have a unique icon? If so, is there a mock up of it anywhere? Quote Link to comment
SCP-173
That doesn't answer any of the questions I asked. I mean the icon on the website. Edited April 28, 2005 by Vargseld? Quote Link to comment
+pghlooking
I asked the same question last week here and have yet to hear anything about these coins or the German Coins. I don't think this is too hard to create a different icon for the different trackables but an answer would be nice. Quote Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
Apologies, I misunderstood your question. I thought you wanted to see what the coin would look like. No it won't have a separate icon as far as I understand, it will use the regular geocoin icon on your profile. If I am wrong, someone please correct me. As for the German Geocoin, I have no idea. Have you tried contact at geocaching.com? Quote Link to comment
+pghlooking
The German coin is using the same icon right now. My question is can we change it? Everything else has a unique icon, i dont think there will be that many items coming along to have this done. Lets add a little something to make it different. It shouldn't be that hard. +ibycus
I think there will probably be lots of coins soon that are trackable on gc.com, and adding an icon for each would get pretty complicated (IIRC, there was a minimum of 200 for an order, which isn't that many...) Quote Link to comment
SCP-173
I agree that not every coin should have its own icon, even if it is trackable on the gc.com site. Somehow I got the impression that the GW3 coins were going to have one, and it seemed believable. By the way, I do really like the design of the GW3 coins. Are there any scans of an actual coin yet, or do I have to wait until the event. Edited April 28, 2005 by Vargseld? Quote Link to comment

+WARedBear
So are there still some of these coins available? I am from Florida and would love to have a geocoin from there. Quote Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
Since they were pre-ordered, if you didn't get in on it, they are going to be harder to come by. But not impossible. They will be giving some away as prizes at GeoWoodstock3. I don't know if they will have any for sale. Quote Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
Just learned that the Geowoodstock3 Geocoins will have thier own separate icon on the user stat page. I haven't seen it since none of the GW3 geocoins have been registered yet. Guess we'll have to wait another 15 days... Quote Link to comment
+Deliveryguy428
pretty coin....I want one but they are sold out already at GW3 Quote Link to comment
