Unkle
I've used www.geocode.com and it seems to work great. However, it only works for a brief period (25 uses). I assume it logs your IP (or saves a cookie). Regardless, any free alternatives? I searched the forums but I didn't find the topic. Quote Link to comment
+NightPilot
This is in the FAQs, if I'm not mistaken. It comes up about every 2 weeks or so. I use Free Geocoding Service for 18 Countries. Quote Link to comment

+mcdefjef
If you have OUTLOOK, create a contact with the proper address, then open it and choose Actions...Display map of address. You'll get an MSN map and you can get the lat & long coords from the URL. Edited April 26, 2005 by mcdefjef Quote Link to comment
gpsvisualizer
GPS Visualizer (http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert?form=address), cited by Baxter-MD, doesn't have built-in limits, but I do get annoyed if someone tries to convert 1000s of addresses without telling me! If you just need one, geocoder.us and maporama.com work well. Edited April 27, 2005 by adamschneider Quote Link to comment
