What’s A Combination Multi And Puzzle Cache?

If a cache has multiple steps to the final/real cache but each step requires solving a puzzle to reach the next, is it a multi or a puzzle?

So if the first stage has real coordinates but every other step requires solving a puzzle it's a multi?

Unfortuately, it's not black and white. This cache of mine provides coordinates to the first stage and puzzles for the remainder. I decided to list it as multi. I could easily see it qualifying for a puzzle too.

It's a puzzle cache. A standard puzzles tend to be harder than a standard multi and I'd let the harder aspect define the cache.

I have a cache that is really just a two-stage multi, but it got listed as a puzzle . . .

If the initial coords are fake and need a puzzle to move on, I say submit it as a puzzle/mystery cache. If not and others tend to be puzzles, I say also submit it that way, since it would capture the spirit of it. This is one of those "not clear" areas though. Regardless, just make clear on the cache page that it takes multiple steps with puzzles involved.
