jtimson Posted April 19, 2005 Share Posted April 19, 2005 I spotted a brass benchmark disk at N 40 44.754' W 073 58.649' on a sidewalk on E 34th street. It is a little hard to read, but you can decipher "Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority" and what looks like "047-2000". There's another number on the disk, but being a New York Street, and a busy one, it's hard to get a real close look. There's concrete in some of the incisions and it's a little banged up.
