+spyder8
In looking over some Geocaching and related websites, I was curious what screen size folks are mostly using - I tried to start a poll, but that function must be restricted. Anyway, was wondering what folks are using, and do they run full-screen browser, or reduced ? Here's my grouping - Dell desktop - 800x600 Dell laptop - 1024 x 768 Toshiba laptop - 800x600 IBM thinkpad - 1024x768 Link to comment

+Tzoid
On the sites I run, 1024 x 768 is by far the most common. But larger displays are getting more and more popular. My current home laptop is 1680x1050. Link to comment

+Tzoid
Screen resoultion etc is tracked using javascript. I have an account ( free ) with http://www.statcounter.com/ that counts just about everything related to web traffic on my sites. It is done by including a little snippet of javascript on each page. Nothing is visible to the end user. Link to comment

+Tzoid
anything else is way to small to see As mentioned earlier I have a 1680x1050, and no problems reading the screen. The trick is to adjust the font size as the resolution increases. On windows this can be done by clicking Control Panel->Display->Appearance->Advanced, selecting the appropriate user interface element and fiddle with the font size till it is nice and readable.
