+Team Tigger International
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...7f-421742886b44 Just above the hints they have a counter and a link to a company that helps you get Credit cards. Does this violate any guidelines? Wulf Link to comment

+Shaggy of Mysteries Inc
Looks like it comes attached to the hit counter. It doesn't bother me any. Shaggy Link to comment
+DavidMac
Yep, it's attached to the counter. My first impression is that the link (to a site with a bunch of credit card offers) probably doesn't belong on the cache page. I'm a little uncomfortable with the site that the counter is provided by, maybe due to the minimal information complete with broken links and grammar errors. My suggestion would be to switch to a more reputable counter that doesn't require links to sponsor sites; there are plenty of free web counters out there. edit: While this may not fall under the category of "caches that solicit" as defined in the guidelines, this may fall under the Terms of Use under "4. Use of Publishing Tools and Forums", which does not allow users to: e) Upload, post or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation. Not that I'm flaming GA Cacher for what was likely an honest mistake, I'm just not big on links to card offers in the descriptions on cache pages. Edited April 9, 2005 by DavidMac Link to comment
+Marky
Looks like it comes attached to the hit counter. It may have been generated by the counter website, but the credit card link is seperate from the counter and could be easily removed. --Marky Link to comment

I'm not questioning the approver on this one. It could have been added after approval for all we know. Wulf Link to comment
+ODragon
Maybe GC.com could just make an internal counter like the audit page for members only. (I love that feature). Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
I'm with the people who think it's in the web counter HTML Code. Maybe it can be removed if the person knows a little about HTML. Most of us are hacks at it at best. It doesn't seem to be intensionally commercial. Link to comment
