+jollybgood
So this new mini spy plane the military has is reported to use GPS to autopilot itself to coordinates that are punched in and send back video feed. http://www.livescience.com/technology/050406_wasp_robot.html This is great. Someday we'll be able to geoache from the comfort of our living rooms. Quote Link to comment
+Greymane
Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose? You know, get out, walk a bit and see the sights? It would be fun to monitor your caches, though. Maybe dive bomb a few muggles! Quote Link to comment
+AtoZ
I think the cost one of those planes is like $10000.00. cheers Quote Link to comment

mufasa1023
maybe $10000.00 for the screwdriver used on the plane..... Quote Link to comment
+IVxIV
Instead of "caching from the sofa", how about a compromise? Drive to the nearest parking area to the cache, and deploy one of those mars rovers from the car? Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Slightly OT, but then this whole thread is a bit dreamy. A few weeks back on CSI-NY a R/C eavsdropping helicoptor was used as a murder weapon. A thumprint left on the battery led to the bad guy. Truned out it was all a lover's quarrel. Maybe dive bomb a few muggles! Hey think about the physically diabled! Although I think finding a cache like may present a problem to them actually signing the logbook. On a side note. There is already a way to HUNT game via the internet. The local radio station did a story... apparently it involves a gun mounted with a webcam... www.live-shot.com I just about fell off my chair when I heard this. Hunting via Internet... geocaching via Internet? Sure why not. Quote Link to comment
