Vector Cache?

Hi folks. I recently did what the cache owner listed as a vector cache. Upon finding part one, found as a clue a ciphered message. Really had no idea what this was all about or what a vector cache is. Was able to locate the cache using geo-sence and other listed clue, but with no help from the stage one clue. Please enlighten me.

Don't know the term 'vector cache' myself. Is this some variation of an offset 'cache or one which requires waypoint projection? Could you provide a link to the 'cache page?

Would this be similar to orienteering, where instead of getting coordinates to the next location, you get a bearing and distance? Just a thought.

If you are a huey driver as your name suggests, it should be relatively simple. Use a compass at the first point to shoot an azmuith or a "vector" if you will. There is one like this in Idaho.

Use ROT13 on the clue.

The cache was almost 300 meters away and you found it using geosense? Good job! I would have deciphered the clue, but then I am lazy.

I just assumed that degrox was a misspelling of degrees. It fits.
