moonpup
Well I've finally come up with a way to use proximity waypoints. On my daily one hour commute to and from work I need to avoid some crater size potholes that will swallow a car whole... ok, so I'm exaggerating but you get the idea. I've marked waypoints for all the major potholes on my route to work and then set them up as proximity waypoints so that I get alerted as they are coming up. I don't know how many days I drive to work and repeatedly hit the same big potholes because either I forget or am not paying attention. Now hopefully I can keep my frontend and tires in one piece. All I need to do now is remember on what side of the road the pothole is on Quote Link to comment
+IVxIV
now that's SMART thinking! Quote Link to comment
+DBleess
MORE time watching the road, LESS time watching the GPS. I crank the radio too loud, I'd never hear the audible warning. Quote Link to comment
