My Dearest Fen Dweller

The era of Fen Dweller would appear to have passed without much significance. The days of the endless nightmare have begun. So also have the nights of the longing daydream. My dearest Fen, from where does your once mighty roar originate? Do you have a home at all?

 

The slough here has been quiet of late my friend. Mr. Thomas thought he might receive a visit from the illustrious lord of the bog, alas, it was not to be.

Mr. Thomas will have no more visitors for the time being. He is not gone, only to be left alone for the time being. I will move deeper into the mire for a while and Peg has sought other, more plentiful, hunting grounds. If any of you greasy sacks of lard wish to fondle the head of Mr. Thomas, you will have to bide your time for now.

Alas. We had contemplated a journey expressly to indulge our fondling urge. We shall inquire further as to Mr. Thomas and his whereabouts later in the year.

Oh gracious! How I was sleeping. Hibernating, don't you know.

My doors are locked, no visitors should knock, untill 'bout May or so.
