EraSeek
My concession speech: I bow to the Lady Blue Whose feets are big… …..whose feats are grand And did a pretty fine job From where I stand. I bow to the Lady Blue Who has sir passed… ……who has surpassed my hard won numbers, Thank God at last! I bow to the Lady Blue Four…fore the two caches she got… ……for all the caches she got to. Indeed! All bow! It was quite a coo… coup! I bow to the Lady Blue May she always cache in the rain… …….may her cache count always reign May her husband understand And not think her insane. I bow to the Lady Blue I wonder when she sews… ……..she’s a wonder it is so, An ideal to be reached So all, let us bow down low. (I suppose she was ineatable … ……I suppose it was inevitable ) I bow to the little lady blues two…too. Edited April 17, 2005 by EraSeek Quote Link to comment
LittleBlue
Hello all- just got back home after running errands on the way home (no, I did not stop for more caching!) Had a great day starting with the CITO event, where it rained and rained. As soon as we had found all the trash, the sun came out . Then we gathered a fun group of folks and did some local caching. EraSeek, I'm sorry you had to work today and didn't get a chance to try to keep ahead of me! I ended up with 17 caches I think. 16 regular and 1 CITO event. So I think that puts me at 920? My oh my... Looks like we have a winner in Weight Man! Quote Link to comment
LittleBlue
Hey! EraSeek- You do everything with style and panache! If I were half as clever as you I would write a spiffy acceptance poem, but alas, I think all this caching has dulled my brain! Time to relax now (yeah, right!) and think of somewhere beautiful and above the clouds to find my 1000. I hope you'll come! I'd be honored! Quote Link to comment
EraSeek
Why I'd love too! Way to go. It was fun!! Quote Link to comment
WeightMan
Thanks to EraSeek for the idea of the pool and thanks to Little Blue for doing it on the day that I chose. It is so nice to be involved with a group that can appreciate fun without rancor. You guys rock!! Quote Link to comment
Allanon
WooHoo...Great to be along on the winning day, even if I didn't win! A great time was had by all today!!! Congrats to WeightMan! Quote Link to comment
Prying Pandora
Congrats, Weightman! And congrats to you too, LB! You are a one-woman caching machine, for sure. Quote Link to comment
TotemLake
Congrats LittleBlue to finally reaching that goal! Congrats to WeightMan for correctly guessing the date! And finally but not at all the least... Congrats to EraSeek for creating a clever game without the angst! Edited April 17, 2005 by TotemLake Quote Link to comment
EraSeek
... to find my 1000. I hope you'll come! I'd be honored! One problem. I'm not off till Wednesday. Quote Link to comment
LittleBlue
You funny! Not sure how much caching I'll be doing this week- the dance show I'm in is on Friday and Saturday evening and I'll be having lots of rehearsals this week! Quote Link to comment
Allanon
Anybody interested...we could make a 'caching' event to watch LittleBlue dance on Friday... Quote Link to comment
hydnsek
Hey, why let EraSeek have all the humiliation, er, fun. People have 'catch' dates picked out through June - why don't we pass the baton from person to person, each with a few more caches than the last. LB can catch each of us in turn, with the winning date-picker noted each time. If EraSeek is willing to continue tracking (since he has the list of people and dates), I'm willing to go next. Today's tally: hydnsek 945, LittleBlue 919, difference = 26 Since I work during the week and can't cache, I predict she'll pass me by next weekend. +GeoRoo
Congrats to you both. Fun watching the run. I haven't been on here for about a week and wow, LB you picked up ground fast. Way To Go!..... Quote Link to comment
NBJPoppa
Following along hydnsek's train of thought... any guesses as to when Little Blue will pass Moun10Bike? Or, do we all think that is too wacky of an idea to consider? Quote Link to comment

Only one problem with this scheme, I'm willing to bet that Little Blue would prefer to go back to a less watched way of caching. Can't say as how I would blame her. I celebrated my Sunday off by not caching or feeling the obligation to. (Though I was out looking for hidey-holes. Found one too but I'm not sure if people would want to do it.) Quote Link to comment

EraSeek
Ok Little Blue, I've been trying to figure out your avatar. I've got it down to about 3 artists, but I'm not sure which painting it is. Thought this by Sir edward Poynter was it for a moment, but not quite. http://www.artrenewal.org/asp/database/image.asp?id=2646 I'm thinking Lord Fredirck Lieghton, John Goward, or Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. +LittleBlue
Wish I knew how to resize it bigger- it's hard to really see. It's Tadema. I noticed that some of you all like the neoclassicism and Orientalism for avatars so I checked some out. I'll find the link for you... Quote Link to comment
