MarcusArelius
In regards to my avatar, I really like it. I think it portrays someplace where we all have been before. Endlessly searching for that micro that could be in a thousand different cracks, testing your addiction. Elusive darn things sometimes, ...caches. Yeah, but the wailing wall has got thousands of little "logs" stuck it it. Quote Link to comment

+EraSeek
Wow! I did some nice caches today! Puppers, I Dig! was very cool! In fact I did a little pushing today. 26 finds, 3 dnfs. I hit Little Blue's "Welcome to Fall City" for #900! I am now at 904! Maybe I put LB off for one or two more days. Say, is there really a trail going up "Wow, What a View"? I saw some on top but I sure didn't use one going up and lost one going down the other way. Quote Link to comment

+EraSeek
I was headed to work, and then I was headed home. I did go out after I got home and tried to plant another cache, but it didn't work. Hmmm. Surface was aluminum and had some sort of oil on it that instantly nutrualize the glue on the backing of 2 different types of velcro. Nothing seems to stick. Have to re-think it or find a new spot. Still at 910 and will be for probably two more days. Quote Link to comment
+LittleBlue
Blah- started the day (well, after lunch and much Fraggle Rock watching with the girls- this is their Spring Break) with a DNF very close to home. Got fed up with caching close to home from that DNF and we headed over to Seattle (after a McLunch break- see above kids' Spring Break) where the caches are in parks that don't require lengthy walking with a 4 yr old and 7 yr old. Well, started that with 2 DNFs! (Probably muggled-eh! ). Ok, 2 1/2 hours later, zero caches found! Then we settled back down and got about 10. The girls found many parks with slides (hey, the coolest was at Swedish Hospital!) and I got to sign my name on some paper in boxes. Sorry we missed Pepper and the gang! Quote Link to comment

+Criminal
Ok, after looking at their respective stats, I notice that LB has 16 virts, 6 events, 5 webcam, 2 LCs, and 1 CITO. That means she has a total of 866 real geocaches. Era has 20 virts, 7 events, 1 webam, zero CITO, and (cough) 8 LCs, for a total of 874. Therefore, the true score right now is LB at 866 and EraSeek at 874. Using my calculator and six pieces of scratch paper, I find a difference of 8 geocaches separating the two. If one considers that LB is a bit more spry that Era, I think this should be over very soon. Quote Link to comment

Criminal, in the interest of accuracy I should come clean and fess up to having one EarthCache find- and while supercool, was indeed a virtual. No paper to sign! So I guess that would make our difference 9 caches in that view. BUT, as to our relative 'spryness'- I remember a certain Mr. EraSeek who sprinted past all of us on the hike up Teneriffe and only stopped to find the caches on the way up! Quote Link to comment

Criminal, I do agree actually that some of these are not real caches. In "real" I would include viruals, webcams, and the rare locationless ( those that are not reverse caches). Where you truely seek a coordinate with your GPS is the key. It could be argued that at least a logbook is required and I can live with that also. In that case you would be correct. Reverse, events, CITO, in my book are just numbers. But we are doing fun. So who cares. Quote Link to comment

There were so many boxes on the screen up there and it was hard to stop the van from heading over to them! But it was not to be. Sorry, Wander Lost! Tomorrow I'll see some of you at CITO and you can either applaud me for stretching my time out there or admonish me for not getting out and caching, depending on the date you chose!
