And as nice a guy as he seems to be, does he really deserve to be named above the credits in this film? Well, I hope he hasn't acquired the rights to one of my favorite Latin phrases in the English language. I imagine he chose it for the same reason I think it's good for a film about geocaching: It means "spirit of a place." In olden times, folks would leave statues or cairns or something to mark a special spot... now we leave geocaches (though I'm not sure how so many strip malls came to be special spots ) Actually, "Genius Loci" was the first name I had in mind for our geocaching team, back in 2002, but it was already taken, of course. Oh, well. I've come to like "The Alethiometrists" even better. Quote Link to comment
