Tb Notices For Unapproved Caches

Is there any good reason why travel bugs placed in a new, unapproved cache get put on the most recent travel bug listing and have a notice sent to people watching them? One of the last caches I hid had 2 bugs in it and I didn't want actually put them in there until the cache was approved, for just this reason. Well I go out to eat, the cache gets approved, someone takes the bugs, grabs them from my account and totally screws up the mileage (which was something like 100 miles).

 

Now with my latest cache I put a Jeep TB in it and figured I'd just place it in the page early since I figured no one in the area was watching it and I didn't want it to be grabbed like the others. Well, no one was watching it, but someone saw it listed on the recent travel bug logs page and is now asking about my unapproved cache, which as it turns out may not even be approved. Can't bugs in unapproved cached be excluded from notices like that?

You may want to check out this recent thread for a discussion on TBs showing up in unapproved caches. It seems to be one of thise issues where some call it a bug, some call it a "feature"...
