+WYlostinMA
I sure this has been discussed in the past, but I could find it anywhere! Where can I buy geocoins? I want to start collecting them but, I don't have any to start trading yet. Quote Link to comment
+Milbank
I'm not sure of a place you can buy one or two just for your collection. Here are some places that make them. I think most peoples collections come from ones they find, trade or are given. The only one's I keep are the ones that are given to me, like the one on my profile page from top pin. http://www.exonumia.com/comm.htm Edited March 27, 2005 by Milbank Quote Link to comment
+WYlostinMA
Milbank, that Top pin coin has got to be one of the best looking coins I've seen yet.. Thanks for your help. I did find a few that I could buy, but in wieghing out the price of buying enough to trade I might be better off making my own to trade Quote Link to comment
+Team Tecmage
Top Pin's coin is one of the Idaho coins. The company that made them also did the engraving I believe. KVCoins has made a lot of the coins out there. The Idaho coin was made by Aaron Charles. Pressed Metal has made many coins as well. To answer your question, here are some places that have coins for sale: Michigan MIGO Coin Texas Geocoin USA Coin Canada Geocoin In addition, scan the Travel Bug and Regional Forums. +Nazgul
I paid about half that price for my California geocoins. FWIW, if someone wants to resell a sold-out coin for more than it originally sold for, I don't see anything wrong with that. Quote Link to comment
