Garmin Emulator For Pocketpc?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if my topic is the right wording but I'm getting a cable to connect my Garmin eTrex Legend with my HP iPaq 4150 PDA. I've looked over all of the software with routing and other things that are similar to my Garmin's interface but what I would really like to start off with would be something that I could replicate my Garmin screen to my much brighter backlit PDA so I can do my normal navigation just with an eaiser to read screen while driving.

I'll definitely be looking at other software but before I purchase anything I would like to at least have this functionality.

Here is the software I'll be looking at once I get my cable but keeping the same info as my Garmin would be nice.

I was looking for Garmin software for my PPC (iPAQ 4700). We've used MS Pocket Streets and Oziexplorer with cable-connected GPS (Rino and Geko), but really wanted to get Garmin's maps for uninterrupted zoom-able maps.

The only way to get Garmin software that we found was to purchase their bluetooth GPS 10. So we did, and it is wonderful. It seems to have all the searching capability and detail of the desktop application, and we can get about half of North America on a 512 Meg CF card.
