+Camo-crazed Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I have come across a cache lately and wondered if there were any more like it. Other than locationless caches, which you still usually have to go somewhere and take a picture of some sort , I was wondering if you have come across any "couch caches", as I call them in your travels. (or non-travels as the case may be) Quote
+briansnat Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I've seen a few. GC.COM rightly put the kibosh on them early on. Quote
+Alibags Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Yes, absolutely shocking and appalling!! how's your german? link I have done some of the couch potato caches in the past, but in the end I decided that it was not what I was into caching for, so haven't bothered after the initial novelty wore off. +sTeamTraen Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I've done almost all of those over the last three months - at least, the ones which are on GC.com. It improved my German, I learnt a lot of other stuff, and on long winter days (and weeks) when it's hard to go real caching, it keeps up my interest. And my found count . Quote
SCP-173 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Four Windows Starry, Starry Night Magnum's Cache I had more fun doing Starry, Starry Night then I did doing numerous traditional caches... Quote
+sbell111 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 ...how's your german? link... I take a look at that link. I don't get it. The three or four that I pulled up were really virts or LCs, not 'couch caches'. Quote
+Tharagleb Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I just did "Starry, Starry Night" while sitting at my desk, it beats work! I sent off the email, hopefully all my answers are correct. I have done a few of these couch potato ones, but not many. My thoughts are that if GC.com lists them then I can do them. Who am I to argue with TPTB? Quote
+Team KwikSilver Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Found this one day while, I think, googling.... Couch Potato Caches Good for a snowy winter day. Quote
