+teamblue
Though, I am a bit dissappointed it didn't come with good mapping software even though it has the ability. I guess I didn't realize I'd have to cough up another $140~ for the full functionality. Unless I am doing something wrong, I have to buy the City Select if I want turn by turn in city as well as just seeing street information on the GPS, correct? Also, I can't seem to get Microsoft Mappoint 2004 (not Streets and Trips) to work with the GPS via the USB connection. It seems I need to get the serial cable and even then, I am not sure I'll be able to send routes \ maps to the unit. Worth it? Thanks, Jason Quote Link to comment

peter
I have to buy the City Select if I want turn by turn in city as well as just seeing street information on the GPS, correct? The 60c can use the basemap to calculate routes, but that only has major roads. So to get turn-by-turn routing using city streets and other minor roads you'll need to have CitySelect. MapPoint won't be able to transfer maps to your GPS receiver in any event. As above, City Select is your best option for putting street maps in your 60c. Quote Link to comment
