The irony of this is in his profile:

I also repair computers (if you have computer problems, I'll come to you, just email me - emails answered DAILY).

He doesn't seem very active in caching with 15 finds since Nov., but it is winter.

Maybe you can try the SCGA.

I'm lost, how can the South Carolina Geocacher's association page help him?

Probably because the user in question is in Florence County, South Carolina.

That was why...

Hmmm...checking his profile, he has logged into GC.COM on March 7th.

Havrix, has he responded?

If not, I have an alternate plan for you (I've used it myself).

Take the duplicate tag, put it on another item and release it again.

I'll even go further and if you ship it to me in Atlanta, Ga I'll make sure it makes it either to the same cache it was in or one near there.

Alternately I know someone in SC who would most likely receive it and do the same.

Let me know.

OK Havrix I have also tried to send an email....

Just to let you know...Someone is complaining on geocaching.com in the southeast regional forums about you keeping a travel bug. Please go to the forums and respond to the owner PLEASE!! He has tried to contact you several times regarding this matter. So as one cacher to another PLEASE respond to this guy!

DD

SO hopefully he/she will respond.

Hello everyone.

Havrix, I sent you an email today.

I would like to explain here for everyone else.

I suffered an illness and was in the hospital for a long period. I was unable to communicate with Havrix. My daughter (my geocaching partner, she's 10 btw), logs into this account periodically, but does not have access to my email. That is why it took me so long to respond.

I will release the travel bug this very week, though I am sorry to say it will not travel far.

Life throws some loops sometimes doesn't it?

I hope this doesn't tarnish me as a geocacher, and I hope to get back to hunting soon. We were having so much fun!

My sincerest apologies to Havrix.

By the way, would you happen to be a fan of the movie "Hackers"?

Seeing how I was on the board that picked all the movies that were shown this semester here at my college Hackers is playing tomorrow and Thurs. because of me.

Triva- what is his orginal hacker name

This is why I stopped deploying new TBs and rarely if ever pick one up.

No accountability and things are pretty much out of your control.

I will again suggest putting the duplicate tag on another TB and releasing it.

I will also again offer to either get it into the last cache it was in or into the hands of a SCGA member who can get it there or nearby.

I suggest you do what I mentioned before or give it up.

I will help you as I mentioned in my previous post, but only if you help yourself.

If you don't and just want them to fix the situation then I'll let you in on something...they aren't going to so don't keep posting here every few months that they aren't doing something.
