+WeightMan Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 That's the one. There was also mention of a night cache somewhere around North Bend if I recall. Quote
+Prying Pandora Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 The closest (to the meeting) and most "on route" RR is on Benson Rd (104th) at 248th. Coordinates for the Kent Red Robin are N47° 22.570 W122° 12.167 Only a block away from this cache. (shameless plug) Quote

+AndrewRJ Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 That is too cool! I think that is going on my list of "must do this year" caches, right up there with that APE cache I keep hearing everyone talk about. Quote

+Prying Pandora Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 (edited) There's been so much back and forth on this that I want to clarify! Friday we are meeting at the parking coords for Night Hike #1 at 6:45 PM? And are there any additional caches we want to do that night or is that it? Edited March 11, 2005 by Phil & Cathy Quote

But there are plans for Saturday after the WSGA meeting. Quote

As to additional caches, I am always up for caching! Can't wait- see ya'll there! Oh, do we want to get a head count here so we know who we're waiting for? Quote
+LandRover Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 (edited) I have one, hopefully I'll still have it when done. Edited March 11, 2005 by LandRover Quote
+WeightMan Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 If anyone is late then they have to catch up. My head is still firmly attached so I have one. Does anyone have two? AFter all two heads are better than one. Quote

+Right Wing Wacko Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Ok, I wasn't sure I was going to make this, but I should be able to be there tonight.... and tomorrow (Saturday) too! Night Caching Rocks, but it's best done in groups. Quote
+The Jester Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 But groups scare off the boogymen! It's much better to give them a fighting chance. Blooming Idiot and I will be there. Rino's set to 2-0. Quote
+globalgirl Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Goodness, swamped here lately, and just learned of this zany adventure. Shoot, an EGH! night cache with a bunch of loony-tunes? Count me in - see ya at the parking coords. Quote

+LittleBlue Posted March 12, 2005 Author Posted March 12, 2005 And a great time was had by all ! I had a good group of night hiking buddies to keep the boogey man at bay tonight in Juanita. A couple neighbours wanted to know where the party was and why they weren't invited . One of the tacks along the hike had been appropriated to tack up a 'Jesus' dollar . Lots of fun and thanks to all those that showed up. Sorry to hear about your crock pot situation, TL. Maybe sometime I'll figure that one out! See some of you tomorrow at the Red Robin for Night Hike Part Deux! Quote
+Allanon Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 One of the tacks along the hike had been appropriated to tack up a 'Jesus' dollar Oh, that's just rude... Sorry I couldn't be there last night, but I'm looking forward to all of today's activities... Quote
+Allanon Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 What a great day of caching and being with wonderful people!!!...and the 12 finds for me didn't hurt either. Thanks to all that contributed and expecially to LittleBlue for suggesting the idea in the first place!!! Quote
+TotemLake Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 It was fun. Thanks for the great evening! I'm glad I didn't go any further as it appears the Jeep was on it's last legs. Something gave out and I'm now dripping oil on the driveway. No hints of any problems up until the last mile. Quote
+WeightMan Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Bummer about the jeep, TL. Otherwise two great nights caching with a bunch of crazy people. I had a wonderful time both nights. Thanks to Little Blue for asking for buddies. Quote
+LandRover Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Uh,night caching is cool! Had a great time last night and tonight. Thanks Littleblue for thinking this one up. Quote
+Prying Pandora Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Whee!!! We had a great time both nights! Sorry to hear about your Jeep, TL. Quote
+TotemLake Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Well the upside is the rebuilt motor is intact. The downside is it looks like I'm replacing the master and slave cylinders. This was not an unexpected maintenance when I bought the Jeep, the timing just sucked. Anyway, I'll be calling my brother (Dodge mechanic) and arrange a time when he can get the parts and work on it. +LittleBlue Posted March 13, 2005 Author Posted March 13, 2005 Our minivan has been in the shop for the last week and a half getting its transmission rebuilt, so I feel ya! I had a really fun time and am ready for Everett night cache! Quote

I am totally up for this one, and will do my best to keep the schedule clear to make this one. Besides, its less than 10 miles away. Quote

Well the good news is it isn't anything too expensive to deal with on my Jeep. The steering pump failed just as I was coming home. My brother is putting it on order with his discount and it should be up and running pretty quick. Quote

+LittleBlue Posted March 19, 2005 Author Posted March 19, 2005 I'm talking with the person who's adopting the Everett night cache. I guess it needs a little bit of maintainence. He also reports that it will take all of 10 mins to do! So we need to pad things out a bit- you know me! Quote
