+Enspyer
This definitely was a topic, actually only a few weeks ago: Markwell It probably would have been better over here anyway. I haven't found much cool stuff myself, nothing like the last poster! Quote Link to comment
C & J Priddy
The coolest thing we've found was actually while CITO'ing in a cache area.. we got a backpack. Quote Link to comment
+justybug
i just found a binder full of waterlogged Magic:The Gathering cards in the woods yesterday. fortunately for my kid, not completely waterlogged! about $50 or so in salvageable cards, and the rest are going to ebay. worth the trip through the woods!! other than that, i've picked up a couple of geocoins that were cool finds. +Medic005
I'd have to say that the best thing that I've found wasn't in the cache, it was the smile on my son's face when we find a cache! Quote Link to comment
+RJFerret
In a cache? From the Magellan contest, their GPS prize which got eBay'd for a few hundred bucks. From a local contest sponsored by one of CT's premier cachers, a treasure box full of silver coinage and a bit of gold that weighed about 6 lbs! Click for full size... Enjoy, Randy Quote Link to comment
Stony2008
One of the best things I ever found in a cache was in my cache! It was a garmin GPS and in great condition. Quote Link to comment
Voncachstein
I haven't been caching too long, but the best thing i ever found was a headlamp. I mean whats worth more than freedom of hand movement + light in the dark? Quote Link to comment
+Delta-S
OK. So you find some valuable item, coins, hundred-dollar bills, a GPS, whatever. How do you trade up? Or just take the money and run. Quote Link to comment
+Couparangus
The quality of trade items has really dropped over the years. I seldom if ever trade anything any more. I've definitely left more good stuff than I've taken over the years. Quote Link to comment

+goldsnoop-
While caching on Nashville we found a DVD Player in a LARGE cache box. We left it. We all had one so the next cacher in line gets a surprize. Quote Link to comment
+julz91
We found a pass to the world premier of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou today. The premier is obviously a few months past, but my boyfriend and I saw the movie together, and the pass is from The Ziegfield Theatre in New York (one of our favorite theaters), so this was an awesome find. ivan the terrible
Best thing? This is pretty weak but probably a glowstick; found it in a cache on the trail to Lake 22 here in Washington. Havent used it yet, waiting for when we go camping (which will probably never happen anyway). Quote Link to comment
+Greymane
I have not found anything spectacular yet. It doesn't matter, though. The kids eyes light up no matter what is in the cache. There is almost always something they think is a true treasure. I have been getting DVDs from Wally World for use in my caches. You can usually get some in the bargain bin for around $6. I don't just grab anything. I pick out movies I would want to watch. Quote Link to comment
+DJ Calamari
I dind't really "find" this, but it occured nearly on top of the cache... My favorite yet... Quote Link to comment
