AE_Rodney
I don't know how many of you read the Getaway, but the March issue has an article by a Pretoria geocacher. Well done Brian. (He even won a prize) Quote Link to comment
+Whostops
I should have posted this awhile ago. I wrote a letter the "Liesure Wheels" a few months ago, all about Geocaching. They printed my letter in the December edition & I won a Maglite Torch for my effort. Quote Link to comment
AE_Rodney
So we have more winners out there. Wahoo! I will look it up, my mom subscribes so she should have the mag. Quote Link to comment
+warthog
Just for info. I wrote an article for the Gauteng FWDC of SA magazine on geocaching some two years ago. Quote Link to comment
AE_Rodney
Cool, do you think you could post a copy of that article? It's interesting reading what other people have thought about Geocaching Quote Link to comment
+warthog
I have contacted the FWCD of SA for permission on publishing the article as well as an electronic copy of the article. If I get go-ahead, I will contact our Geocache family for posting the article to one (or more) of their Geocaching related websites. Quote Link to comment
+geocacher_coza
Get the electronic copies and I will post it on my website. I am planning a page on the site delicated to other South African submissions like pics, stories etc. Quote Link to comment
+Brick
Humbly, I must admit that the Getaway letter by Brian Cheyne is none other than me. I wrote the letter a while back already, but when I sent it to GlobalRat, he suggested I send it to Getaway. And there you go !! PS..I got to read the letter only now, and the thing is a nothing like the original....no cahe in this country ever contained RUGBY TICKETS!!! grrrrrr Edited February 21, 2005 by Brick Quote Link to comment
AE_Rodney
Now we know what would make Brick happy for his next find! Rugby tickets. Maybe someone should place the Loftus Versvelt Cache. Edited February 21, 2005 by AE_Rodney Quote Link to comment
+Brick
That would be nice ! But the point is that I hope that this does not cause a flood of new cachers all looking for Rugby tickets and all they can find is bouncy balls and McDonalds toys Quote Link to comment

Tell 'em that there are rugby tickets "somewhere", and tell 'em to go find!!!! Quote Link to comment
AE_Rodney
Hey, if they're in it for the treasure then too bad for them. It's all about the hunt. Quote Link to comment
