kingquad
I am just wondering if there is any type of geocaching poster we can download/print, and post at work/corner stores buletin board if they allow us, etc.......because I am sure a lot of people that doesn't know about geocaching would probably love it if they even knew it existed. +El Diablo
Good idea, but I can see future problems because of it. It wouldn't be long before you would see them nailed to trees along hiking trails, in parks or about any other place you could imagine. They would be put there in with good intentions, but would widely be viewed by the public as litter. It would basically do more harm than good. El Diablo Quote Link to comment
Markwell
If you really want to advertise Geocaching, print off this PDF brochure and get the local Forest Preserves to place it on their literature rack. Quote Link to comment
Renegade Knight
If you make a poster and make it available I'm sure people would start using it. The tri-fild Markwell links is great to hand to people, and for exactly how he suggested using it. But I do think that there is some use for a poster here and there. Quote Link to comment

Miragee
I think a poster is a great idea. Maybe there could be a contest for the graphic artists of Geocaching. (I'm not talented or creative enough myself . . .) Quote Link to comment
kingquad
I'm SOOO not an artist too,...that is why I started this topic....and I couldn't see why it would be posted in parks and places where it shouldn't,....since it is US.....the geocachers that will be printing and posting them. +Marky
I think a poster is a great idea. I think so too. Where would the forums be without posters. I mean, it's be rather quiet don't you think? Oh, different kind of poster? Never mind. --Marky Quote Link to comment
hydee
I want to know how you are going to put "We search for tupperware in a bush" on a poster and not sound like a weirdo? I like the graphic arts contest idea! Quote Link to comment
zoltig
I want to know how you are going to put "We search for tupperware in a bush" on a poster and not sound like a weirdo? I like the graphic arts contest idea! How about: "Geocachers do it in the bush!" Quote Link to comment
Markwell
There's a multitude of "do it" possibilities ("I'll follow the pointer and find the box"), but rather than go down that road, maybe something along the lines of using existing slogans for a good design. But Hydee, doesn't the Emerald City have a graphic artist already? Doesn't someone draw Signal? Quote Link to comment
Spencersb
I want to know how you are going to put "We search for tupperware in a bush" on a poster and not sound like a weirdo? It beats "We feel up park benches looking for hide-a-key boxes." OT, we've printed the brochures and added our logo and website in the"contact' box and placed one or two in Walmart by their GPSrs in areas of West TN where we don't have many geocachers. +kingquad
Good idea about Walmart's gps area.....I will do that tonight....and will also bring a few at Canadian tire, in the GPS's section Quote Link to comment
