+Rottweiler
Im thinking no but am not sure as I am very new to the GPS world. Also how can I tell if my GPS is a 300 or 300m? I have the Magellan SporTrak Map and it doesn't say anywhere on it about 300 or 300m. Quote Link to comment

The Magellan 300 series is a discontinued series. Your model is "Sportrak Map". Some of the older MapSend products still refer to the 300 series. Just ignore that and all should work fine if you have the baud rate matching up. --Marky Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
Yes you can but you must do the following: First you must have G7ToWin.exe, then you can Upload/Download via G7ToWin.exe with the Magellan GPS, then open up a session of Mapsource, then from the menus at the Top of the G7ToWin Program there are options to Send to an open session of Mapsource. you can also import or export files from/to Mapsource, that can then be read by G7ToWin. Caution: you must name each tracklog downloaded from your Magellan, in order to import from G7ToWin.exe, to Mapsource. Ive done all my magellan waypoints and tracklogs via G7ToWin To Mapsource, since that is the program I most prefer then the Magellan Mapsend. Ive been downloading Tracklogs and Waypoints Via G7ToWin to Mapsource for years. Edited February 18, 2005 by GOT GPS? Quote Link to comment
+Marky
Ive been downloading Tracklogs and Waypoints Via G7ToWin to Mapsource for years. The maps, however, are not compatible (i.e. you can't download mapsource maps to a magellan, or mapsend maps to a garmin) --Marky Quote Link to comment
+GPS_David
I was able to use this to download by tracks from my Garmin Etrex. I downloaded my tracks to a CSV file and imported it into Microsoft Streets & Trips and it worked like a charm. Thanks! Dave Quote Link to comment
