+beejay&esskay
More often than not, when I select "bookmark listing" from a cache page, I get the below error message. (Tried 4 times on 3 different caches, got this error 3 times.) I am a premium member. I only have 1 bookmark list set up. It has no caches assigned to it. Server Error in '/' Application. Creation failed. You have exceeded the maximum number of bookmark lists for your account. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. +Marky
I guess you aren't as premium as you thought. Seriously, though, I haven't seen this error. Sounds like some kind of bug with your account. --Marky Link to comment
+TinSparrow
I saw this same error very briefly this morning, and later when I tried to book mark the same cache things worked just fine. Hopefully this was just a transitory system state. Link to comment
Jeremy
I'll look into this. It is saying you exceeded your list number so it seems erroneous if you're trying to add it to an existing bookmark list. Do you have 10 lists created? Link to comment
Jeremy
D'oh. Sorry. You told me in the original post. I'll look into it. Link to comment
+Hemlock
I've seen this error a few times also. Didn't make sense since I only have 5 lists so far. Usually if I hit "back" then "bookmark listing" again, it would work fine. Link to comment
Jeremy
I'll just run a bunch of bookmark checks. Very strange. Sounds like an erroneous error (sounds redundant) when it checks for duplicates. Link to comment
+beejay&esskay
D'oh. Sorry. You told me in the original post. I'll look into it. I DO have the maximum 20 PQ's set up, if that could be at all relevant. Link to comment
+beejay&esskay
Hope this has not been covered already: When you try to add a cache to your bookmarks, but you haven't created a bookmark list before, an error message is shown. It would be nice to have something more informative instead of a screen which looks similar to the now long forgotten server to busy errors. Once you create a bookmark list, all is fine. Love the new layout! Nostrada posted that on the official FAQ thread for bookmarks. At the point I had my error, I had 1 empty bookmark list created...which could be the same issue? Link to comment
+beejay&esskay
Just to keep my error report up-to-date: I got this error again yesterday. I have 3 lists with items on all of them, so my guess in the above post was wrong. Link to comment
+Hemlock
Sounds like an erroneous error (sounds redundant) when it checks for duplicates. I just got this error when I tried adding a cache to a bookmark list, when that cache was already on said bookmark list. It took me a while to make that connection. Obviously that's an error, but there should be a friendlier way to say so then throwing a cryptic .NET error at me. Link to comment
+DomHeknows
I've had it several times too, but if I then go to the bookmark list and add the waypoint then its quite happy - just can't do it from the cache page itself. Link to comment
+Tprints
I'm getting the same error when I try to add a new bookmark and I only have 2 lists so far. It's does work if I add it from the bookmark list page though, just not from the cache page as already mentioned. Link to comment
