Garmin Waypoint Factory Set Icon?

I have a Garmin Legend and I use the little house icon all the time.

I wish there was a way to set what waypoint icon that comes up when you set a new waypoint.

 

I use my gps for work daily to mark were my customers live.

When I enter a new waypoint I put in there name and always change the square icon to the little house icon.

 

It would be great if I could just have the house icon come up when I go to mark a new waypoint.

 

Do any of the Garmin or other brands of gps let you change the icon like I wish I could do with my legend or do they all have a square as factory default?

 

I know it's not a big deal, but it is one of them little things that I would look for in my next gps if I could get it.

The easiest way I know of is to download into mapsource and then select all then change the waypoint to a house and re-upload o your gps

My 60cs uses the last icon that you used as the default for the next waypoint you mark.
