+murfster Posted February 5, 2005 Share Posted February 5, 2005 Easter Weekend March 26th-27th Canadian Ecology Centre (CEC) is offering an exciting Geocaching Double Header event weekend packed with geocaching, prizes, and fun! Saturday March 26th an Easter GPS treasure hunt will take place in and around North Bay Ontario. A prize draw will be held after the event on Saturday and you can reuse those submissions for your regular prize submissions for the 2005 NOGPSTH prize draw. That evening come back to the Canadian Ecology Centre and have some dinner and possibly some night caching fun! Then stay in the luxurious cabins. On Sunday March 27th join in at the Canadian Ecology Centre for Breakfast and a day of geocaching fun and adventure. Mystery caching event to be announced that day! Then that night enjoy camp fire and some interesting programming. (Workshops may also be available during the weekend depending on interest and availability.) Then stay in the CEC's luxurious cabins once again and enjoy breakfast at the Ecology Centre before heading back to your home on Monday March 28th. Watch herefor details. Link to comment

We hope to make it down to this event, as the last one was great. Affordable and fun and there won't be any bugs yet. I will let you know soon if we can swing the weekend away. OGPSTH Posted March 3, 2005 Share Posted March 3, 2005 Just a note to all those who have said they're going to come or going to "try" to come. You need to register online at www.geocachingonatario.com or by calling the Canadian Ecology Centre 1-888-747-7577. They need to know how many are coming. There needs to be a minimum number of people registered to run the event. If that number of people does not register by the 15th of March, then the event will be canceled. So if you are planning on attending please register soon! Link to comment

There is still an area caching event on Saturday march 26th see www.geocachingontario.com for more details. But no event will be held Sunday March 27th at the Canadian Ecology Centre. Link to comment
